Situated in the heart of the community, Western' s Mary J. Wright Research and Education Centre at Merrymount has one goal: Setting children and families up for success. We do this by supporting early childhood research and practice in real world settings.

During this time of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we know families are being challenged to live with uncertainty and stress. With this in mind, Ph.D. Students in School and Applied Psychology have created family friendly resources in English and French to help families better understand how to cope and be resilient during this time:

Over 120 families have participated in research studies at the MJW Centre.

Over 160 children/families associated with Merrymount have received psychological services through the MJW Centre.
